Your school can attend this convention with the assistance of professional development money through your school district? Districts may vary in what costs they will fund or the percentage of the registration fee that they cover. Now is the time to get your request into your local school district’s office. Many of our schools have used this money in the past to attend our conventions. These funds can also be used toward the online portal of NEXUS you will have access to as a registered convention delegate for additional professional development credit hours throughout the year. We encourage you to check out the Guidance Document for Title II. You specifically will want to reference Section G-12 of the document where the following question is addressed: May Title II, Part A funds be used to pay for a private school's teacher attendance at a professional conference sponsored or conducted by a faith-based organization?
Professional Development Opportunity
Each Head of School who attends this convention will have access to the Nexus|Virtual comprehensive catalog of over 300 hours of professional development. All other individuals who attend the convention will have access for a fee of just $25. This Nexus|Virtual portal will be the platform for Christian educators to learn, collaborate, communicate, and grow professionally in an ongoing format!
