Student Leadership Conferences for the Four Western Provinces

Purpose:

To instruct students (grades 8–12) in the application of Christian leadership principles
To introduce leaders to tools of management, organization, and motivation
To bring Christian students together for the stimulus that comes from meeting with other spiritual leaders

Keynote Speakers

Saskatchwan and Alberta
Wayne Adams has devoted his life to working with youth and young adults for more than 22 years. He has a deep and relentless passion for young people to discover their God given potential and destiny. As a dynamic and gifted communicator, he has had the opportunity to speak to thousands of young people in Canada and the US about the difference that can happen when they become fully devoted to God and realize their purpose and passion.

Manitoba
Dr. Chris Marchand has been Assistant Professor of Youth Leadership at Providence College for nine years. Before coming to Providence, he served as a pastor of youth ministries and as a senior pastor in both Canada and the US. Chris has been speaking to audiences for 25 years and uses his sense of humour and love for God to engage both the heart and the mind. He lives in Otterburne, MB with his wife Heather and their children Justin and Brianna.

British Columbia
Mike Mannes was a teacher, coach and administrator in Christian education for 11 years, and a youth pastor for three years. He is currently serving as lead pastor at SouthSide Church in Chilliwack, BC. Mike and his wife, Corinne, have six children, ranging in age from 18 to seven. His hobbies include coaching basketball and running after his kids and his passion is to see this generation of young men and women wholeheartedly following Jesus.

Corinne Mannes loves being Mike's wife and the mother of six amazing kids. She has a degree in English Literature and her hobbies include reading great books and writing. Like Mike, her passion and heart is to see the young people of this generation loving Jesus with all of their hearts, minds and strength.
