Last Updated Mar 11, 2010

The ACSI Student Activities Program seeks to encourage and inspire students toward a standard of excellence in leadership, communication, and performance by enhancing the academic and fine arts education program of the Christian school. It provides opportunity for the practical application and development of skills necessary for confident Christian leadership.

Each activity is planned to impact the educational and spiritual growth of each student, encouraging them to be a testimony to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Each event also seeks to provide opportunity for Christian fellowship and positive interaction between students and teachers of participating schools.

Southeast Activity Participation Manual—detailed information about each event
Participants are to follow the national handbooks for all events except Music Festival, Band Festival, and Piano Festival as these are run differently in each region. All regionally specific information for each event will be listed in the Participation Manual and the event letter for each event. Unless otherwise specified, each individual Student Activity has a specific handbook and forms available by selecting Student Activities Handbooks or Student Activities Forms in the right hand column. Please note that the handbooks are password protected, and your school must have registered and received the password from your Regional Office. Below are documents and forms that are specific to the Southeast Region. These are to be used in addition to the ACSI Student Activities Handbooks and Forms.

New Event!  Geography Bee

This relatively new event will be in its third year in the southeast region in Fall of 2010. We will expand the number of sites in our seven states. What a success! The schools and student involved last year had a wonderful time and can't wait to compete again this year! The handbooks are available by password on the national site www.acsi.org/kwhandbooksstudentact. A training webinar for coordinators and chairmen is available now at www.acsi.org/kwstudentact. Contact the regional office with any questions.

Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders

The FCC Cheer Camps are sponsored and administrated by the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders (FCC). Unlike many cheer camps, these events are designed to build team cheerleading skills while discipling athletes in their walk with Jesus Christ.

Southeast Regional Spelling Bee

The Southeast Regional Spelling Bee is always held in the spring in Atlanta, GA. It is open to the top four winners from each District 5–8 bee in the region. At the bee, students in 5th–8th grade spell together until the top four winners are determined. Those four are eligible to go on to the National Spelling Bee always held in May in Washington, D.C.
