For over 30 years, the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) has served member schools with a mission to provide enabling services that ultimately impact the students and the families they serve. One feature service provided by ACSI is the Children's Tuition Fund of Pennsylvania (CTF of PA), established in 2001, and the Children's Tuition Fund of Rhode Island (CTF of RI), established in 2010, that provide scholarships for economically disadvantaged children to attend approved Christian schools in the states of Pennsylvania and Rhode Island.

The CTF of PA is largely supported through the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program of Pennsylvania.

The EITC legislation allows qualified Pennsylvania businesses and corporations to contribute to approved scholarship organizations and receive up to a 90% tax credit for their contribution, with a potential tax credit limit of $450,000! Participating businesses have the option, if they should so choose, to designate their contribution to a specific school through an officially recognized scholarship organization such as the CTF of PA.

As of July 2004, the Pre-Kindergarten Tax Credit (PKTC) program was introduced. This tax credit initiative provides a 100% tax credit for contributions up to $10,000! The PKTC contributions support scholarships for children aged three years and older who are enrolled in an ACSI member pre-kindergarten program.

Children's Tuition Fund of Rhode Island

The CTF of RI is largely supported through the Rhode Island Scholarshp Tax Credit program. Rhode Island legislation allows qualified businesses and corporations to contribute to an approved scholarship organization and receive up to a 90% tax credit for their contribution, with a potential tax credit limit of $100,000! Participating businesses then allocate their contributions to a certified scholarship-granting organization such as the CTF of RI.
