Educator Conventions
It is that time again to register your staff for the ACSI Mid-America Educator Convention! All information details and registration are available online. The South Bend Convention is on September 30 to October 1, 2010. The Minneapolis Convention is on October 21–22, 2010.

New Early Education Field Director
The new Central Early Education Field Director is Deborah Carter. Debby will be attending the South Bend and Minneapolis educator conventions this fall. Indiana Pays for ACSI EE Accreditation Costs
If you have an early education program in the state of Indiana (even if you are part of a larger school system), the Indiana Accreditation Project (IAP) will help pay for most of your ACSI REACH accreditation costs. ACSI has not officially set up a contract with IAP and faith based early education programs and an official mailing to all member schools was sent out last week. Accreditation News
The REACH manual is already at version 1.2. If the front of your manual does not have that indication, then here is what you are missing:
Appendix V (Non-negotiable indicators) and a one word change in the title of Appendix E (Preschool word removed).
Appendix T has been very recently updated. There are more options on reaching the educational requirements.
The Mid-America Accreditation Commission is currently working on a specific training for chairs to be rolled out in 2010.
